New ADP Innovations Designed for Today's World of Work
May 18, 2015

ROSELAND, NJ -- (Marketwired) -- 05/18/15 -- A redesigned, consumer-driven user experience from ADP® helps simplify human resources (HR), enabling managers and employees to be more strategic and productive in working to grow their business. The company has delivered more than 300 enhancements and capabilities to its cloud-based human capital management (HCM) platforms in recent months to assist companies of all sizes in building a better workforce and supporting strategic growth.

  • Power business results. The new user experience delivers features that help drive improved decision-making and business performance across ADP's flagship HCM product suite. These include:
    • RUN Powered by ADP®. A completely updated user experience has been created that puts the most-utilized functions front and center. Intuitive alerts for payroll data entry have also been incorporated to help minimize errors. The custom reporting feature now allows our partners to make a custom report template once and automatically utilize it across all client accounts.

    • ADP Workforce Now®. Mid-sized businesses can take advantage of career portals that can be easily set up and personalized to show meaningful content to different types of job seekers, including internal candidates. Without any programming necessary, users can use templates to post jobs, show videos and add custom graphics to attract job seekers.

    • ADP Vantage HCM®. Large enterprises can benefit from an enhanced employee experience for managing human resources (HR), payroll, benefits and time as well as practitioner experience improvements in areas such as performance, succession, learning and compensation management.

  • More intuitive experience for managers and employees, as well as HR. The more intuitive user experience can help increase productivity by allowing people to spend less time clicking through software and more time pursuing activities critical for business growth. ADP has extended its new user experience to many of its HR, time and attendance and payroll product suites this quarter followed by pilots within its benefits administration and employee onboarding product suites.

  • Comprehensive, integrated hire-to-retire solutions. The ADP Marketplace, is a new cloud-based "app store" designed to help employers extend the value of their HCM solutions by sharing workforce data across their entire organizations securely, all via a single sign-in process. Applications can be purchased and downloaded to help streamline workforce management through event-based triggers, such as hiring a new employee, automatically triggering a setup process for an expense account or training plan, empowering HR and managers to focus more on helping employees succeed. There are 30 apps currently available and growing. More than 60 ADP clients now use ADP's application programming interfaces (APIs) via the ADP Marketplace.

  • Mobile app redesign. A user experience redesign for ADP's extremely popular mobile app for employees and managers is targeted to be completed this summer. Users can view pay statements, input and track time and attendance, review benefits information, Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) and retirement account information, and download and print W-2 forms right from any mobile device. Over 2 million people have downloaded the app in the past year, bringing total users to about 4.5 million. It is consistently ranked in the top free business apps in both Apple® iTunes and Google Play.

  • All in on innovation. The ADP Innovation Labs in Roseland, New Jersey and New York City  are key components in a company culture that empowers innovation at every ADP location every day. The Labs' almost 200 software developers, data scientists, anthropologists and other disciplines share their research and intellectual property with ADP development teams around the world in a collaboration that results in products that define the "new world of work."

"By anticipating companies' real-world needs and inventing creative products and services to address them, we're helping clients simplify how work gets done today and in the future," said Stuart Sackman, ADP's corporate vice president of global product and technology. "Our solutions are tailored to how people prefer to access and interact with programs on laptops, mobile devices and through emerging platforms like wearables."
