On average. It takes a payroll practitioner about 13 hours every week, every Monday and Tuesday to run payroll when they have a payroll run due that week. It's stressful. A lot of payroll practitioners, they can't take time off during that time frame or they're so anxious about making sure everybody gets paid that they don't.
But in that 13 hours, there's lots of parts of the process that become a bit of a bottleneck. They're getting files coming in from other vendors. They have employees that are entering information, sometimes incorrectly. They have missing data. A file is corrupted. Number of things goes wrong with the client's data. This problem is universal. In the payroll industry. All payroll teams struggle with this.
So part of that process that most practitioners will take is about a 90 minute exercise to go through all of the variations in their data to make sure that they're correct, because no one likes an incorrect pay statement. What we've been doing is working on a process that actually starts to build trust as we go along. So today when a client does this process, they pull a report, they print it off, and they literally go line by line. Oftentimes that they have to reach out to the employee who entered the information incorrectly, or they have to reach out to a manager, or they have to reach out to another person on the team to make sure that the information is correct, or even going back to their vendor for a new file.
What we're doing now is actually automating that process for them, so we can flag it up front, like here's what we're seeing. They don't have to print that report anymore. It appears right in their dashboard. And they can see you know, what the anomaly is, what our suggested, recommended resolution for that is. And they can decide to take action on that. And so far, what we're seeing with our clients that are now using it on our workforce now platform is that they're saving from 90 minutes. Now it's down to 60 minutes.
You know what 30 minutes back in that 13 hour period is for users? Things that they can do that more analyze in depth what they can do to other parts of the process. That's a huge time savings for our clients.
