ROSELAND, N.J. - October 7, 2014 - ADP®, a leading global provider of Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions, today announced a new cloud-based marketplace designed to help employers manage an ecosystem of complementary enterprise applications, enabling them to extend the value of their workforce data across their entire organizations. The new ADP Marketplace will be available to companies beginning October 8, enabling them to discover applications from ADP as well as trusted providers from one location.
Through the launch of the ADP Marketplace, ADP is giving clients, partner companies and application developers access to its application programming interfaces (APIs) through a secure cloud platform. By accessing ADP's APIs, companies can enhance data-sharing capabilities across their enterprise applications with a single set of workforce data. This will enable companies to automate a variety of workforce management tasks that previously required employers to manage them across multiple platforms. In addition, clients, partner companies and application developers will be able to leverage the APIs to enable access to the partners' newly created and innovative applications and to upload their applications for purchase in the ADP Marketplace.
"Whether you're a small business or a global enterprise, integrating data and workflows across applications is critical to effectively managing your organization. Yet, most organizations today are still hampered by islands of information that are stuck inside HR and other business systems," said Don Weinstein, Senior Vice President, Product Management, ADP. "The ADP Marketplace will help clients simplify data-sharing by providing real-time integration with other key enterprise applications and reducing deployment times with pre-built integrations. At the same time, the ADP Marketplace is a key platform for partners to reach the largest base of HCM clients and workforce data in the industry."
Several partner companies have joined the ADP Marketplace where employers will be able to use their services. They include:
Concur: As a leading provider of spend management solutions and services, Concur helps companies more easily manage their expenses through the cloud. In the new ADP Marketplace, employers will be able to access Concur's platform and integrate their travel and expense data with their organizational hierarchies and reporting structure contained in ADP's HR system of record for a seamless expense workflow routing and approval process.
GetHired: Job applicant and onboarding technology company GetHired helps employers streamline their entire hiring process with ADP Hiring Powered by GetHired.com. The company will offer ADP Marketplace users access to its platform, giving them greater oversight of their applicant hiring processes and data.
Globoforce: A leading provider of social recognition solutions, Globoforce helps companies build strong cultures of engaged employees through the power of thanks. As part of the integration with ADP Marketplace, joint customers of ADP and Globoforce will have an easier and more effective way to manage and recognize employees' ongoing performance and cultural values adoption. The shared vision of ADP and Globoforce includes a number of future enhancements, including supplementing performance reviews with peer-based, crowd-sourced recognition data, for a more complete, well-rounded picture of an employee's performance and impact across the organization.
Several other partners are also working with ADP to build the ADP Marketplace where employers will be able to access and use their services. These partners include Cornerstone OnDemand, LifeCare and PaySimple.
ADP worked with leading cloud services marketplace provider AppDirect to create the ADP Marketplace. AppDirect powers online marketplaces for leading companies around the globe. By collaborating with AppDirect, ADP will give companies easy access to a customized catalog of services and solutions through a single sign-on.
Companies will quickly see the automation benefits and time savings that come from using the ADP Marketplace. For example, employee onboarding will be made easier by enabling companies to execute and manage tasks associated with the entire process, such as employee profile creation, payroll and benefits administration, in one work stream within the integrated solution they create through the ADP Marketplace.
When it goes live on October 8, you can visit the ADP Marketplace at https://marketplace.adp.com.
