Paige DeAngelo, founder of Aer Cosmetics

I love running a small business. I would say mostly because of the customers and the relationship that I've been able to build with them. I am Paige DeAngelo. I am the founder and CEO of Aer Cosmetics. And my favorite part about running a small business is my connection with my customers.

I think being a small business owner, I have the unique opportunity to be very hands on with my customer relations and I have a very open and communication with them. So being able to listen to their needs, understand what they actually want and then turn that into a real product and real innovations is my favorite part. Seeing their reactions, hearing their problems and their pain points and then solving them and giving that feedback back to them and physical product is my favorite part. It's very rewarding, and I love the connection and community that we've built.

My advice for someone starting a small business is also. My favorite part about running a small business, and that is listening to my customers and building a connection with them. I think it's the most important part. You know, if you're trying to solve a problem is hearing from the people themselves what their pain points are, what they actually could use, and what will benefit them,

It's very hard, but it's easier to be flexible and be quick and nimble when you're making these changes than it is, you know, an already developed corporation. So build that connection with your customers, listen to what they want and actually provide. That would be my advice.
