We've moved past simply using AI to do things faster and speed up tasks. And we're starting to design work in a way that allows people to focus on the things that they do best.
To lead in the new world of work, businesses are going to need to take a very thoughtful and intentional approach to change. They can't just change for the sake of change itself, but they need to have change that is grounded in a real understanding of how work is being done today, and where the frustrations really lie. What's getting in the way?
AI can play a critical role in this. It can help organizations to do things like fine tune current tasks and surface the kinds of inefficiencies that are holding them back prior to taking on any big transformation projects. When AI is deployed in this kind of a fashion, it can become a tool that can bring about real impact and change rather than disruption.
I think that the organizations that are going to lead in the new world of work are the ones that will use AI to strengthen their decision making, change how work is being done, and focus on their people and keep their people focused on meaningful work so they can build the foundation needed to be ready for what comes next.
