September 22, 2015

ROSELAND, NJ -- (Marketwired) -- 09/22/15 -- Working Mother magazine today named ADP® as one of the 2015 Working Mother 100 Best Companies for its commitment to progressive workplace programs, including advancement of women, flexibility, child care and paid parental leave. The 100 Best Companies are featured in the October/November issue of Working Mother and on workingmother.com.

Subha Barry, vice president, general manager, Working Mother Media, says, "As we celebrate the 30th anniversary of Working Mother's 100 Best Companies, we are keen to recognize leaders who have built initiatives that truly support all employees. They are the vanguard of successful companies, with policies that matter to American families."

In conjunction with this recognition, ADP named Kathy Ross as the company's 2015 Working Mother of the Year. Kathy is Division Vice President/General Manager for ADP's National Account Services based in Alpharetta, Georgia. She is responsible for a significant book of revenue and oversees the service of integrated, human capital management solutions for ADP's large U.S.-based clients. Her 20-year ADP career has spanned eight positions in four divisions and three corporate relocations.

Active in promoting corporate social responsibility and women's success, Kathy is board chairwoman of ADP's Women in Leadership network, an initiative focused on ADP's female executive development. Prior to this role, she founded the Midwest Women in Leadership chapter in Chicago, Illinois. She serves on the steering committee of ADP's International Women's Inclusion Network, a global women's business resource group that equips women to achieve personal and professional success. Kathy also volunteers her time on the Local Engagement & Diversity committee to enhance associates' work experience. She enjoys mentoring several ADP women, nurturing their talent and supporting ADP's next-generation women leaders.

Despite a demanding career, Kathy is actively involved in her children's extra-curricular activities. "The keys are planning, organization, communication, and an employer that encourages an active life beyond the job," she said. "One of ADP's core values is creating a work environment that is supportive for associates of all backgrounds and their families. The company understands the demands on working mothers and offers the flexibility and benefits that allow them to be productive and advance in their careers while balancing their other obligations."
