August 13, 2015

ROSELAND, NJ -- (Marketwired) -- 08/13/15 -- ADP® today announced that it has been named a Leader in Gartner's "Magic Quadrant for Payroll BPO Services" for the fourth consecutive year.*

Gartner, the world's leading information technology research and advisory company, offers objective insight on many areas of information technology, including business process outsourcing. The 2015 Magic Quadrant Study for Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) evaluates the capabilities of 12 vendors of payroll services. According to the Gartner report, "Leaders perform exceptionally well by having a clear vision of market direction and client needs and by actively building capabilities and competencies to sustain their leadership position. Leaders have superior market understanding, and they manifest it through marketing and sales strategies that both respond to and lead the market for these services. Leaders invest in continuous research and innovation in technology and payroll administration, have strong financial viability, and have customers who consistently testify to an extraordinarily positive relationship."

"ADP has been a leader in the payroll outsourcing market more than 65 years," said Carlos Rodriguez, president and chief executive officer of ADP. "And as the challenges of globalization and compliance continue to add complexity, ADP has continued to innovate on the payroll experience for employees and managers alike. We are grateful to be recognized by Gartner for what we believe is our focus on staying ahead of the market to meet the dynamic needs of our clients."

The report specifically cited ADP for:

  • Platform flexibility, saying the company "can manage very complex payroll environments for single-country and multi-country clients. Furthermore, ADP has a solution for every organization profile, including large multinational corporations, midmarket companies, and small or midsize businesses."
  • Client satisfaction and retention, noting that "ADP has retained clients at a rate of more than 91% and has an average client tenure of 12 years. ADP was rated as one of the top three providers in this report based on satisfaction scores from survey respondents across payroll-related functions, technology, and provider-customer relationship criteria."
  • Significant investment in technology and payroll domain innovation, and research, recognizing "recent notable innovations including its modeling tools for the U.S. Affordable Care Act, the ADP® Marketplace, and the ADP® DataCloud."

Today, ADP pays more than 24 million (one in six) U.S. workers and an additional 12 million workers outside the United States. The company provides flexible services that improve payroll management for employers of small, medium, or large businesses, and manages the time-consuming tasks of online payroll processing and employee payroll tax filing so clients can focus on running their business.

ADP's Global Payroll solution is available in 104 geographies and has been designed to help businesses manage country-specific taxes and deductions, monitor compliance requirements and ensure a smooth, best in class payroll experience for all employees. In order to meet the growing global demand, ADP continues to steadily expand its global payroll footprint across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific, and the Americas, underscoring ADP's focus on bringing global clients the benefits of integrated payroll solutions from a provider they trust.
