ROSELAND, N.J. - November 20, 2014 - ADP®, a leading global provider of Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions, has earned top honors in two major security rankings. Security Magazine ranked the company #1 in the Business Services category in the 'Security 500." ADP Chief Security Officer, Roland Cloutier, was also recently named Tech Exec Networks' 2014 Information Security Executive (ISE®) of the Year for North America.
Companies in the Security 500 have been selected based on specific security metrics for their individual sectors, The ISE award recognizes the information security executive who demonstrates outstanding leadership in risk management, data asset protection, regulatory compliance, privacy and network security.
"Given the large amount of financial transactions ADP handles and the sensitive client data we are entrusted with, security is mission critical for us" said Roland Cloutier, Chief Security Officer at ADP. "This type of recognition is validation that the mission is front and center in the services ADP delivers every day in all the industries we serve."
ADP's approach to security is proactive rather than reactive. The company's Global Security Organization (GSO) has three threat management centers that operate 24x7x365 and security professionals in 15 countries to continuously monitor cyber and privacy issues. Additionally, the GSO has partnerships with dozens of cyber-intelligence sources. This world-class security is "baked in" to all the solutions ADP offers clients. Security is built in to the products, not around them.
Among the other awards ADP's GSO has captured recently is the 2015 CSO 50 Security Award from CSO Magazine. In addition, Roland Cloutier was selected as one of Evanta CISO's 2014 Breakaway Leaders.
Cloutier went on to say, "Recognition of this type is never about one person, even if it's an individual award. It's a statement about the continuing dedication, attention to mission and passion for excellence of ADP associates around the world that work hard every day to protect the security and privacy interests of our clients."
